e-Seal

The e‑Seal serves a similar purpose to the traditional organizational stamp or seal. It confirms that a digital document was issued by a specific organization, ensures that the document has not been changed and enabling secure and trusted digital workflows.

Our e-Seals are currently used in 17 EU member states, supporting secure digital document exchange across multiple sectors.

WHICH E-SEAL SUITS YOUR BUSINESS THE MOST?

  • e-Seal – an advanced electronic seal with a qualified certificate, which can be downloaded via a secure web link and stored on your own secure device, such as a server or encrypted storage medium.
  • e-Seal on a secure device – a qualified certificate on a Qualified Signature Creation Device (QSCD), providing the highest level of security for the electronic seal. This option is suitable for organizations that do not have their own secure infrastructure for storing private keys.

WHO SHOULD USE E-SEALS?

Electronic seals are particularly useful for organisations that issue or exchange official digital documents:

  • Government institutions issuing permits, certificates, and official documents
  • Financial institutions confirming transactions and payment orders
  • Healthcare providers verifying medical records and laboratory results
  • Digital platforms issuing invoices, contracts, or automated documents
  • Banking issuing invoices, contracts, proving payment transactions

KEY BENEFITS:

  • Efficiency and cost savings– electronic seals replace physical stamps and paper-based processes, helping organizations save time and operational costs.
  • High level of security - our e-Seals comply with EU eIDAS regulation and international security standards, making them significantly more secure and harder to forge than physical seals.
  • Trusted and proven technology - SK ID Solutions was the first organization in the European Union to issue a qualified electronic seal, demonstrating long-standing expertise in trust services.
